Even though my degree is in marketing and my main position includes managing/maintaining rental properties that we own on Chincoteague Island, I have always felt the need to help others in any way that I am able. I have experience working in a hospital as well as at clients' homes and have recently become a volunteer with Coastal Hospice. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule so am simply looking for opportunities to assist where needed whether it be with daily care or just as a companion. My hubby (Steve) and I share the love of cooking so that is also a skill that I am able to offer. To this day, my 94-year old Grandmother tells me that I should have been a nurse and that I missed my real calling.
