Although I do not have paid experience being a home health aide I do have experience taking care of my father. He had his first stroke when I was in my senior year of high school and his second stroke when I was in my sophomore year of college. The first stroke left him blind in his left eye and disabled in the left side of his body since the stroke affected the right side of his brain. The second stroke added further damage to his brain, which affected his speech, mobility and vision. I am from Philadelphia but I goto school in Indiana, PA. When I am home for breaks I take care of my father since I live with him and my sister takes care of him when I am away for school. This makes me qualified to take care of someones loved ones because I know first hand how you'd want someone to take care of your family.
