Hello My name is Lakisha, I am a experienced Caregiver, Patient Care Technician (with training through Paoli Hospital) and a Certified Medical assistant. I am going on my 8th year in the medical field and I enjoy it. My grandmother who had Parkinson's Diease inspired me to be in the medical field. Assisting her with bathing, meal prep, medication reminders, transfers, shopping and light housekeeping kept me busy. It also made me realize my passion and empathy for caring and taking care of others. Now that she passed away I've decided to get more training through programs and schools. I am a student at Montco earning my nursing degree. I also work privately at a retirement home with a couple of experienced caregivers. Upon request I can provide letter of recommendation!
