Back in 2010 I took an early retirement from my job as a transit worker in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved my wife and two young sons here to Northridge. My wife comes from a large and close knit family here in the LA area so it made perfect sense for her to be here and for my boys to be with their aunts uncles and cousins. I never had plans of becoming a caregiver but I just kind of got into it by accident in 2011.Since then I have come to realize this job is the perfect fit for me. I love the fact that I am able to make such a positive difference in the lives of families who are going thru such a difficult time. I am naturally a very caring and compassionate person. I am very easy going fun loving and approachable .When I am with a client I like to create a relaxed and positive atmosphere. I always like to encourage outdoor physical activity if possible. Over the years I have experienced all the physical and mental challenges that my clients were facing. I am also a pretty decent cook and a good housekeeper. I cared for my most recent client for over five years and he recently passed away. The personal achievement in life which I am most proud of is being a great husband to my loving wife of 28 yrs and a fantastic Dad to me two awesome sons
