I'm a very empathetic and patient person. My family was the primary caregiver for my dad who lost his battle to cancer and to my grandmother who had dementia before passing on. I understand the pain and changes a family endures while caring for their loved ones. Everyone, regardless of age and gender deserves love, dignity and respect and this is seen through the quality of care we give. Having seen my dad go through difficult transitions attracted me to aspire as a caregiver someday. I enjoy learning from the older generations. They always have something wise to teach or a story to share! I'm most proud of my drive and optimist view on life. I surprise myself often on how I overcome life's challenges. I've assisted my clients with doctor visits, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, meal preparation, using walkers, wheelchairs, food shopping, errands, etc. Due to my experience and the nature of my work, I feel that I can handle and adapt to any kind of situation.
