I become a caregiver because; A caregiver is so rewarding because you deal with so many diversity and learn so much about people. I am a caring and a giving person and welling to provided help at the time of need. Love helping people that can no longer handle their day to day living activities; Do to their health issues and or other conditions that might have slowed them down. Meeting people, learning about their life styles will help me deal with them more smoothly. I like being there to support anyone when they can not provide their meals B-L-D, bathing, errands, or even feeding themselves. Assist with light housekeeping, medications, doctor appointments, grooming, and companionship. Very proud of being able to provide care to the sick, ill, and the disable. Making sure that they are comfortable and free from pain; dry so they would not get bed sores. Providing clean clothing daily, making sure that they get their therapy so that gain enough strength to start the healing process. So they can go back to their independence living or assistant living housing. Assisting individuals that need help and that rely on me for service. I been in the healthcare field since 2007. Starting out as a Home Health Aide and worked my up to a CNA. I have worked in facilities and homes and like doing both.
