Some traits that will aid me in my role as a caregiver are empathy, being able to listen and detect anything wrong independent of any verbal cues, and a genuine sense of wanting to help in any way possible. I chose to become a caregiver because this role will enable me to connect with clients on a professional level while helping them move along in their health journey to improve their personal health and daily functioning. I especially enjoy listening to my clients express any worries about their health or life and being able to address their worries or merely listen. I am proud to say I am a recent nurse graduate. Nursing school was one of the most difficult things I've accomplished in my life, but now I'm excited to be moving on to more challenging things.
