About Taquita

I think what make me a great care giver is first, my 17 years of experience . Second in my 17 year career I learn and develop patience for those I care for, compassion because you have to understand what the patient and family members are going through, attentiveness because I now care for patients that they can physically and emotionally everyday. Dependability I know my patient and their family depends on me to be there when I say I am. I also show up on time and when I suppose to be. Trustworthiness I will never breach the trust of the patient I care for. I came a caregiver because I love taking care of people. Take care of people just comes naturally to me . What I like most about being a caregiver is that knowing that I'm be helping people that a reward in itself.I have a lot of personal achievements the most recent one that I can recall is that I work in a ICU and the nurse call out for help I ran in the room quick as possible to see what I can assist her with , and while helping the nurse t the patient has lost her pulse I hit the code button in the room and started CPR right away while the nurse tried to get a Iv in the patient, after one round of CPR the patient the patient got her pulse back. The patient daughter was hugging me and thank me for saving her mom. I told her it was nothing I was just doing, my job. To this day every time I see her she tell people that lady who save my mom life.
