I became a caregiver for the elderly when I was 19 years old. Now, at 23 as I aim to complete my Master's degree in Social Work, I continue to look forward to caring for our older population every week. I love creating relationships with our older adults, and assist them with the things that they need to be done. I find a sense of accomplishment by giving back to the community that has created the world that we live in. I love hearing stories about when our parents and grandparents were young and the different obstacles that they have had to overcome. I find that I am an outgoing and loving caregiver. I have experience with the easiest cases in elderly care, and the not so easy cases. Both give me similar senses of accomplishment. I am always interested in learning about new people and their needs.
