I make sure the safety of the clients by clearing the pathway to avoid falling, i make sure to encourage client to apply all the doctors mandated like taking fluids or measure the fluid intake, to re-position client every 2 hrs to avoid bedsore, take vital signs, I do light housekeeping, laundry, prepare meals and medication, groceries and drive clients to appointments..Working with elderly or those who need care is my passion its like am at home with my family., its fulfilling to see the progress or improvement with the way i care, I work with love and compassion. I'am a warm compassionate and caring individual. It my way of giving back we had help with my mom when she broke her hip. Helping other people making sure they are cared for. I worked with a man with Parkinson disease as well as a diabetic. He was 96 years old when I begin working with him. He was on hospice, with six months to live, he live to be 100 years old and six months. His children say that was due to my cooking and taking care of him, talking with him he just needed someone to show him love and attention.
