I am Eduardo from Australia,35 year old individual in fair health & shape currently seeking people who needs some assistance & help to make their life a bit more easy-going. I very close to my grandmother & I have always been involved taking care of her since I was 16. I have been in this field since 2015.I have experienced a new found liking for caring & helping out seniors & population with other special needs . I have worked with patients with dementia,Alzheimer,schitzofrenia,Down syndrome,aids,hospice care ,quadriplegia.I am trained in using pelican lifter/hoist ,changing diapers,cleaning ,personal hygiene ,cooking . I like to be attentive & be quick -witted to get things done fast & efficiently & slow down to cater to needs of the patient . I love the sense of giving back out there in the society in my own little way . It gives me pride & a sense of achievement . I very proud of how I form a special bond with most of my patients to get things done easily & in a fun way. I am proud of my achievements of work with people with special needs ,old age & addiction I have been staying in America specially in New York City for the last two years since I moved from Australia in October 2018 ,it's been a rollercoaster ride of adventure and excitement. Back home used to work in the same field for over six years. I take pride in what I do and I definitely have a special flair for helping helping out people and looking out for their needs . I have been testing biweekly for covid & been negative so far & have been observing hygiene & safety procedures always .I don't smoke,drink alcohol or do drugs . I became interested in the healthcare field while serving as a missionary in Guatemala where I worked with poor people living in the mountains, garbage dumps, and street children hooked on glue. Many times after serving I would come home crying because of the plight of the people I served but I love reaching out to help others and served for four years. Here in New York City at one time I also worked with homeless people living in shelters and in the parks. I have worked in nursing homes in Florida and in homecare in New York City. I love being a caregiver, impacting humanity in a positive way as I help to improve and maintain health. Each and every individual that I serve is important to me and I treat him/her with respect, and dignity. I am a hard worker, patient, kind hearted, honest, and reliable. I attended college and the knowledge and skills I received in school have equipped me with the means to better care for clients. I have cared for clients on ventilator, G-tube feeding, trache, and foley catheter. I have assisted with meal preparation, laundry, and housekeep. I do not drive, I don't drink or use drugs.
