I provide care to my 91-year old father, as needed. I additionally helped care for my 89 year old Aunt when her daughter was away or unavailable. I have been caring for my father since late 2012 when my mother passed. I am the sole caregiver to accommodate his needs when he is unable, i.e. ER visits, after surgeries; or general duties ongoing such as grocery shopping, meal prep, doctor appointments, Power of Attorney to handle finances and medical bills and companionship. For my Aunt, I provided transportation to doctor visits as well as taking notes of the appointment and asking educated questions of any concerns, any med changes or instructions for further care. Her family members trusted that I always had their loved one's best interest at heart. I sat with her and provided companionship and meal prep as needed. I pride myself on being a very patient, compassionate person who is trustworthy. I am always thinking of the client's needs and comfort.
