Receives 911 emergency calls, evaluates the circumstances and provides appropriate responses quickly and accurately. Follows chain of command response and posts dispatch to assure common understanding of call; provides additional assistance to responding agencies as needed, i.e., fire, police, etc. Coordinates response of emergency services. Provides radio communications for police, fire, EMS units and County Government. Maintains confidential files and procedure records and log sheets for department. Operates computer and technical equipment, and provides basic equipment maintenance. Interacts daily with general public, government and public agencies, departments and field staff. Enters incident information into computer files. Processes various forms, reports and other department paperwork as required. Keeps updated on all applicable policies, procedures and regulations regarding emergency services and related areas. Monitors weather conditions. Runs criminal histories, driver licenses, gun permits for County Police Agencies. Conducts all Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) on all medical related calls.

* Update resident's profile * Prepare cultures/ samples to be sent out for analysis * Providing residents with appropriate care (toileting, showering, feeding, etc.) * Provide residents with the correct medication including correct dosage and time * Determine how a resident responds to treatments * Ensuring that all necessary/ prescribed medications are present * Ensuring that there are not any expired medications for the resident * Reordering medication * Updating resident's doctor/ chain of command when there is a change
