*I am currently in Honolulu making plans to relocate my family back to the island permanently in July 2017. I'm a licensed EMT-Parademedic looking to find a family to help with home health care/companion services. I became a caregiver simply because I enjoy helping people. I have worked in the medical field for 20 years and home health care has truly been the most rewarding part of my career thus far. I admire families that work hard to keep their loved ones in the comfort of their own home and when that's not possible for medical reasons, I have been able to provide round the clock care inside nursing or rehab facilities to ease the minds of my clients and their families by providing concentrated personal care within a facility. I enjoy becoming a part of the family and I'm always humbled by how warm, welcoming and appreciative the families have been to me. I'm most proud of my ability to organize and make daily life easier for the families allowing them more time to share together knowing the hard work will be done for them. I always look forward to meeting new families and I strive to be a blessing.

For the last 3 years I've had the pleasure of becoming a part of the Williams family while caring for their 96 year old grandfather. Mr. Williams was diagnosed with dementia and sundown syndrome several years ago and soon after the diagnosis the Williams family decided to bring in some help to make sure their grandfather would be safe during the night. Mr Williams also suffered from numerous health conditions that required round the clock monitoring and medication assistance. Mr Williams passed away earlier this month and he will certainly be missed.
