I've been working in this field now for over 30 years and I get a joy out of helping others.I became a caregiver after completing school in 1989 . I immediately began to work in my profession.I like being a caregiver because the Heavenly Father has blessed me to have a love for it.I'm 50 years of age I'm a minister, I'm a wife and a mother. I have a love for people and respond to them well, I'm trustworthy as well as dependable. My job is to give each client the best quality of care as I assist them to achieve all of their daily activities.

I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

My great grandma was a huge influence on my life. She instilled a genuine love and admiration for our eldery population. I hate to think of them spending thier last yrs lonely or ashamed they can no longer take care of themselves. I want them to know it is I who is blessed to be able to help them. My fees are negotiable.

I have two special needs children of my own, I am 100% positive that I will exceed your expectations in caring for your loved one. it takes a special person with a great amount of live, compassion and patience. My son is almost 10, he has a rare genetic deletion which allowed all these mental/physical health problems. he was diagnosed at 9 months old with bilateral retinoblastoma and underwent 8 rounds of chemo and radiaton and had to have a central line that I had to be trained on how to flush daily and change his site dressing . He also has low functioning autism , he's still in diapers at 10, non verbal, blind in his right eye from the cancer. My daughter is almost 8 and was born with a genetic problem as well. She's has teribleood swings, ADHD, seizures and other mental problems. Sorry if I have over explained I just feel that some of you would like to know that I walk in the same steps as many of you do on a daily basis.

I have always been the one growing up to take care of everyone else physically and emotionally. I'm easy going and can get on any level while caring for others. My greatest achievements are the people I was able to help and take care of when they no longer could.

Ever since I was a little kid I've always wanted to help people. In high school I volunteered all four years at a senior facility that offered different activities for them to participate in. Throughout those four years I also visited my grandmother every other day and visited her. I helped clean her apartment, as well as other day today activities. I'm happy to say that at 93 she's still going strong, and we talk on the phone all the time. I truly found my calling with my current job caring for almost 40 people a night, split between myself and two other employees. I make sure my clients are happy and loved. When I know they are low on anything (whether it's socks or food) I make sure they are never without.
