I currently work as an Assisted Living Coordinator and Care Team Member in an assisted living in the city of Sun Lakes. I have over 20 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry providing care for individuals with disabilities and caring for those in the elderly community living with dementia and alzheimers. I am a nonsmoker, nondrinker, I love animals and I have a laid back personality. My husband and I moved to Arizona from Colorado primarily because of his health. He had numerous health issues including COPD, Diabetes, and was on oxygen 24/7 in Colorado. We moved here in 2016 and he passed a way in 2018 , so I was also his caregiver for the last part of his life.

When I moved to Arizona I started in the kitchen at a nursing home as a dishwasher, I worked my way up to food service directors assistant and then to the nursing side as a CNA. I have been doing home care with mostly Seniors since about 2000. Before that I worked in a care facility as a caregiver before I went to nursing school. I was a nurse for 13 yrs. & a rehab aide for 14 yrs. @ a hospital in Ohio. I had CNA training in Ohio & have done mostly homecare since & continued with it since we moved to Arizona in 2003. I have been working 12Hr. 24Hr. shifts & have no problem working 2 & 3 days in a row, it's what I'm used to. I'm able to cook meals, transport to appts., or outings, grocery shop, laundry, assist with ADL's, assist with exercises, personal hygiene, & light housekeeping.
