Hi, I'm Shawna, \"What makes me a great caregiver?\" I've raised six amazing children as a single mother and after 20 years of helping people feel good about themselves in the beauty industry, I took on the role of my 92 year old grandmother's caregiver. I cared for her for two years and I feel I've found my calling. I am, by nature, a very nurturing person so I'm in my element as a caregiver. I have excellent work ethics, I'm organized and very easy to get along with. I have a great respect for the elderly because they have paved the way for me and my children. I went to high school graduated and then decide to take some nursing class I did really liked it, my first experience as a home health aid I remember working at facility care I really loved it I learned so much , I am a caring and positive caregiver I always want to make sure that my client and family are fully satisfied and happy the way I work , I always like to show how much I am full of energy working as a caregiver, my responsibilities are bathing , reminder for taking meds, errands, driving to doctors appointments, and do activities of daily living as a caregiver, I love my work and I always want the best for my client to feel comfortable and safe.
