I was raised in a caregiver family, my mom is a CNA still to this day. I received my certification in 1999 and other than taking a few years off to care for my youngest daughter full time I have worked in this field most of my adult life. I can't imagine doing anything else & I enjoy it immensely.

I am a compassionate and empathetic individual whom believes in treating the client with dignity and respect. I have always been interetsted in medicine and how an individuals quality of life can be improved through specialized care. I became a Nursing Assistant because I believe that there are a lot of people out there that take this job (caregiving of any sort) for granted. In this type of position I take pride in caring for my patients. I think of it as if it were myself needing the help, how would I want to be cared for..?
