I am a hardworking person that likes helping others. Being a caregiver has helped me realize the comfort and support this job can bring to clients, and it is something I very much enjoy. I am very attentive to detail and enjoy getting to know the patients and families.

Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing.As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

Hello, i hope my brief summary reaches you in the best of spirits. To start off i have been a CNA for 7+ years and a home health aide for 5 years. I enjoy being a caregiver simply because of the satisfaction i get after a day's of work knowing i made a difference in someone's life even if it was just for a day. Hello my name is Sarah and I have been a CNA/Caregiver for two years! I have always enjoyed working with seniors and I find my job very rewarding. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I have been working toward my degree in Healthcare Management and am looking at opening my own care home someday.

I went into Chiropractic because I wanted to share knowledge with people that I had gained over the years pertaining to natural healing. When my father died, and being an only child, I knew my mother would sooner or later need my help. I lived with her in her apartment for 9 years, preparing all the healthy food she preferred. I did the cleaning, the laundry and some of the bathing, driving her to Fresno to medical appointments. I have a friend right now who is becoming disabled. I bring him food, make fresh juices, and will soon take himbto town for cataract surgery.

I'm known to be the most loving and compassionate person. Other people say I'm the most thoughtful and generous person. I'm also big hearted and loving. I love giving to others helping. I enjoy giving and caring for others because they make my day better by giving me love back and interacting with them in daily activities. Their smile is gratifying. Personal achievement being on my 90 days and on my second day on the job got employee of the month.

I am now back on track and excited to be back in the field I love. I love providing care for people in their homes because it is more focused on the care of the specific individual. I am CPR certified and had a state background check in order to qualify for school. I know in Home Care it is important to have a good match of personalities, and I seem to get a long rather well with the clients I have had the privilege of caring for.
