I am a very genuine person with excellent listening and communication skills. Strong ability to anticipate peoples needs and accommodate them. Raised two beautiful children while also taking care of my aging mother until she passed. I am a people person and feel deeply for the aged and those who are not able. I enjoy helping people whether it be to feel better, or preparing meals or giving them independence through mobility. I've traveled the world and lived overseas for 20 years, graduated from University, landed great jobs, had my own business, but my most cherished achievements are my amazing children.

I became a caregiver for my Mother and found out that I enjoyed this line of work. I have an over abundance of patience and love helping others. I'm caring and compassionate and always put clients happiness and comfort first.

I have compassion towards the elderly and children most especially those who are in need of help with their daily activities. My first experience as a caregiver for the elderly was when my sister and I took turns in taking care of our 83-year-old mother. Moreover, I am confident with taking care of kids because I raised my own three boys (they are all adults now). Aside from being a caregiver, I am active at our church being part of its ministry. I am a good team leader and also good at following instructions from my supervisor. I am good at organizing and I always see to it that my client's room and kitchen are clean and tidy.

Hi, my name is Erin, and I was inspired to care for the elderly eleven years ago as I witnessed my great-grandmother age. She was an amazing woman and a great influence on my life. At 92 years of age, grandma started needing round the clock care. We tried several skilled nursing facilities and quickly noted that given their staff to patient ratios, Grandma was not getting the attention she needed. This lead our family to look into in-home care. I saw what how important a quality caregiver is to client's health. I knew I wanted to be the have the same positive impact on someone's life. Shortly after my grandmother passed, I embarked on my career working with the elderly. I provide services that allow seniors to stay in their homes. This includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, medicine assistance, meal preparation, dementia care (Alzheimer, Parkinson's, Lewy Body, etc.), diabetes care, physical therapy, transportation to and from appointments, and Hospice care. I have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and am licensed and insured. I have excellent references from local families. I also am state certified, CPR and first aid trained, an approved Independent Provider for Calpers long-term care insurance, with eleven years of in-home experience.I look forward to speaking with you. I am passionate about helping people live meaningful lives. I am often told that I have a calming effect on others and that my presence is healing. I love to cook, garden, do errands and create efficient, organized ways of accomplishing daily tasks to allow space for enjoyable, meaningful interactions. As a designer and healer I find beauty in everyday moments and love to share my inspiration with others. I kindly, patiently encourage and foster the best in those I spend time with. As a mother of three, caregiving is an integral part of my sense of well-being. I also deeply appreciate the time I spend with elders and their families and find that giving from my heart is deeply rewarding. I have a spunky personally and will always try to put a smile on your face. I chose this career path because I enjoy making a difference in someone's day. My clients mean a lot to me and I put top priority in caring for them. I go out of my way to help my client with all the care he/she needs. I am tidy and clean with a plus on being very organized. I decided to become a CNA/Home Health Aide after the passing of my Mother. My Mother and I lived together for 11 years. The last 4 years of her life she suffered from dementia. After caring for her, I realized that I had acquired considerable knowledge and experience in this area, that would be helpful to other families facing the same challenges. I began my career working for an agency in Santa Barbara; but after the fire and mudslides, I joined an agency in Camarillo. I have been with them for about 3 years. However, at this time I would like to work directly with clients and their families. I am very patient and understanding when helping seniors with their challenges.
