I have been a caregiver/provider or volunteer in the medical field since I was 10. I enjoy providing companionship and medical to all ages. I enjoy taking care of others. Knowing that I provided each individual with the best quality of care possible for that time in their journey. I'm most proud of maintaining a reputable character in the medical field in and out of homes.

I have been a caregive for close to 15 years, specializing in hospice care. I get along with almost everyone. I love helping people I have experience working with all age groups I have worked with clients that had mental and physical handicaps.

I am a compassionate, outgoing and caring person that loves to serve the needs of others, especially the elderly. I am a believer, and have a servants heart. There is so much about care giving that I love. Shining light in an otherwise dark environment ,Listening to their stories of the good old days, Reading to people that no longer can focus well. Playing music from their generation, I love sharing my personal adventures, about my days off with them. Show pictures of hikes I've taking with my husband, or things that I have baked. Oh yes, Love to cook. Healthy meals. I will always keep my clients personal hygiene at its best. Assist them with oral care, hair care, shaving etc. I always promote independence and dignity and respect. I will treat your loved one the way I would want mine to be treated. with 100% devotion to their every need. What attracted me to being a care giver is the enormous need in our country today, I cared for my own grandmother in her 90's, and realized there is just not enough of us out there. I love bringing people Joy as well is receiving joy from them.

I have 18 yrs. experience working as a Nurse Assistant. I am kind, considerate and very knowledgeable in assistance of the elderly and other disorders. I also have hospice care exp. Ten years ago my only sibling passed away which led me into the medical field. I find solace in helping others. I have always enjoyed caregiving, warms my heart. I have a gentle soul with a heart of gold.

I am a nursing major that is new to the area, been in the cargiving field for 10 years, I work very well with everyone. I am kind and and a hard worker, I learn very quickly especially on my toes

Being a good care partner has always been my goal in a career. I have achieved that goal and now want to share that knowledge and skill with other caregivers' weather they are at home or in a facility. I still give care and enjoy it, but I offer specialized training to the family and other caregivers at the same time to ensure the best care for the person suffering from dementia. I am proud of my accomplishment's as a certified independent trainer for (PAC) Teepa Snow's (positive approach to care) it has truly made a difference in the care and quality of life in everyone I care for. I am certified in ALC the Adult Learning Cycle to aid in the way I train individuals to ensure they are learning the best way for them.

My name is Monica Parra. Ever since sophomore year in high school ( by the way this was a very long time ago!) I have been involved as well interested in the healthcare industry. I have invested more than 10 years into home health care. When I say +10 years, I am expressing the time I began to take college courses and graduating programs to do that which brings me joy and pure fulfillment in life. I love helping people and I love challenge. It's an instinctive tendency of mine to provide the best care for people. I am well-versed with many illnesses esp. those common within elderly populations. I provide service for outpatient recovering from injuries or post-surgeries. My educational transcripts and professional experience strengthen the framework of my career, but what makes me an exceptional caregiver is the only thing that I believe matters most- my ability to empathize with the complex process of healing from traumatic events, terminal illness, ailments related with aging. I personally have experienced the (5) grieving stages firsthand with my own family and I treat every family with the care I would want for my family because I truly understand what you're all going through. I am convinced that is what makes life worth living: being more about giving to others, being self-less, and remaining grateful.

I have a unique passion for taking care of others. I am a fast learner and have years of skills. It takes a compassionate person to take care of someone I am that compassionate person. I took care of my mother hands on while she was fighting for her life from cancer. Ive told myself I will take care of everyone as if they were my own. All I am asking for is a chance.

I have always been close to my elderly family as a young child .As I got older I would volunteer with my friends family to help them and I took care of my Uncle Rudy after his stroke .This is when I New my next calling after his passing was to continue to help the Senior in my community as I have now for HISC for going on 5 yrs.I am very compassionate and they come first,Family's have asked for me by name after having me once they ask for me to be their care giver. I'm always a half hr, early so not to be late , I have a 100 percent respect from my bosses Buck and Tonya Shaw the owners of HISC Buck said I'm the whole package. I am trustworthy, honest , never call in unless I go to Dr, and they say with note I'm contagious. I work wonderful with others , team player,I speed walk every night I'm in great health, Mother of two adult daughters, I just got Divorced , my choice Thank you. And just moved in with my oldest daughter here in Jackson ,She just recently became a widow and asked me to live up here with her .

I am an easygoing and friendly person. I have been married for 29years. I have 5 children. My youngest is now 17. I have always been a caregiver. I helped raise 4 younger siblings and later 2 stepdaughters. As time went on, I helped care for my grandmother with Alzheimer's. Following this I helped care for an Uncle with pancreatic cancer and one with diabetes and a history of strokes. Amidst all of this I also worked for an agency for a year. It was during this year that I became aware of 2 types of caregivers. The ones in it for a pay check who gave the bare minimum and those who were passionate about providing top level care with dignity and respect. I am the person who provides top level care with dignity and respect. Feeling this way inspired me to venture out and start my own business. Through my experiences I have gained valuable knowledge about many disease processes as well as end of life care. I absolutely love providing care so that people can remain at home for as long as possible. I treat all of my clients as if they were family. I can provide excellent references if requested.
