I have been involved in working in the healthcare field for over the past 20 years now. I really enjoy taking care of my clients. I show them a lot of empathy and compassion. I like to do what I can to make my clients feel special. I always go the extra mile to keep them happy. What attracted me most about being a good caregiver? I am 25 years old, I have been a caregiver for a span of 4 years so far! Everything about being a caregiver is so important to me, from the tidy housekeeping, to companionship and client support is all crucial to me. I have patience, and time management, I love to be friendly and carry a conversation, I feel that a client isn't just a "client" they are someones mom or dad, sister or brother, daughter or son, they have a life, a story behind the care they need, and as a caregiver I enjoy being the support that families can have not just for the individual needing care, but for the family to feel safe with me as their caregiver.

The reason I became a caregiver was because my grandmother died alone in a nursing home. I have also worked in facilities. I left due to the fact I didn't like the way the clients were treated I couldn't give them enough attention. The reason why I love working in homes with one or two clients at a time is because you get to know them you get to bond with them and they become like family. 80% of my clients I have stayed with till the end and that is because most of my clients are terminal.
