I love being a caregiver, because helping people especially elderly is a very rewarding job, someone need to help elderly and that's me, should help them .. Not everyone likes to be s caregiver but for me it's a very rewarding job. I feel good if I can make an elderly patient smile again and especially if they can get back in walking again . I was very proud of myself when a dementia patient of mine was back to her normal situation ( not exactly normal) but giving the medications on time and feeding or reminding her or him that it's time to eat will help a lot in getting better. Time management for the daily activities of the patient will help a lot in getting better for the patient well being . I considered myself as one of the best caregiver at my job now, and will continue to give my good care to the elderly until I retire .

My personality is a very happy person I've always been caring of the elderly community just because I feel like the elderly has no advocates for them! I worked for a nursing home for about three years and as well as private caregiving on the side just because I love elderly patients and taking care of them properly. I spent a lot of time taking care of my loved one for about 5 to 7 years after a stroke and it got me into loving caregiving and anything about the nursing community! I have been told by many of my patients clients and family members especially working in a hospital for 2 1/2 years during Covid I learned a lot about bedside manner and what to say and how to get patients motivated to do things that they need to do for themselves for the better future also helping them in their last stages of life . The very passionate person about medicine and making sure people are happy with their care. I enjoy making my patients laugh over funny things or stupidity or anything that can really bring joy for that time in for that visit even an uncomfortable situations! My personal achievement is to get my registered nursing license by the time I'm 25 it is a current goal of mine and hopefully have fulfill that goal with going back to college! Unfortunately in current times I cannot afford college so taking this extra job on top of my home health job will definitely get me to where I need to go!
