I enjoy spending time with others. I like being the best caregiver I can to people and if they where to meet mercier help I make sure that it is addressed as soon as possible. Hi there, my name is Abby and I have been working in caregiving/healthcare for about 8 years. My mother worked as a CNA her whole life. I would often volunteer in the facilities she worked at, and I started as a CNA myself when I was 16. I have experience in a variety of healthcare settings, from home care to facilities to pharmacies to disability care. I have completed extensive training in Alzheimer's and dementia care, intellectual and developmental disabilities and basic life support and first aid. I have always been passionate about helping people and I love being able to help seniors stay in their homes and maintain their independence. Being able to form connections with clients, getting to know what they enjoy, and supporting them in continuing to the things they love is very important to me. I look forward to helping you or your loved one enjoy their best life!

My career has always been working as a Sales Professional on the West Coast. As I worked, I was also putting in many hours volunteering as an in home hospice companion, in home palliative companion, and serving in convalescent homes. I am currently considering being a Hospital Chaplain as a career change since this is where my heart is at. I'm a social person who loves to provide a positive environment with everyone I meet. My appreciation for hospice came when my mom needed this service and I knew somehow I wanted to be on the caring side of the industry. Please know my Sales career has helped me adapt to a variety of people which helps me meet them where they are at vs. a "canned" approach to all. I am high energy, reliable, and try to make the person I am caring for feel respected, loved, and like they are the center of the universe. If it's important to you, I am a Christian. I am a very enthusiastic, reliable and deeply caring human. I started as a nanny almost a decade ago and transferred to elder care over the last three years. I have experience with dementia care, diabetes management, end of life comfort, medication reminders and many, many ADLs. I hope to provide respite for family members, as no one person should have to be alone in caring for a loved one. I love getting to know my clients and their families to provide the best care possible.

I have a big heart and a lot of empathy and I believe I was put here to help those who need it. I love to honor my capabilities my helping those who are not as capable. I've loved helping my older relatives since a young age, and decided to take CNA classes in highschool due to loving volunteering at the nursing homes in middle school. I am a compassionate, reliable, and responsible person. I have been a caregiver all of my life and it is my passion, it started with my family and I decided to make a career out of it. I am currently studying nursing in college and I am extremely driven. I want to help in any way I can and I appreciate any opprotunity I can get to make a difference in someone's life. I grew up taking care of my grandfather and grandmother whom unfortunately past away from liver-related and diabetical issues. After that, I began focusing on my passion which is using my engineering abilities in order to help people with various illnesses live a better and more comfortable life. My goal after completing school is to work towards the inventions of med-technological devices that improve living conditions for people around the world. With good personal assistant experience and knowledge of engineering, I will stop at no cost of my goal of improving the world.

I am very proud of the day I was showering a patient and she was so sad because her family wasn't able to come see her so I turned her favorite artist (Edith Piaf) on and curled her hair done her makeup and painted her nails I will always remember the way she thanked me with tears in her eyes and told me I really made her day better.
