Hello, I am a 37 year old mother of a boy and a girl who loves to have a connection and friendly relationship with not only my family and friends but my clients as well in order for them to be comfortable in receiving the best care possible that I can give. Being a mom, I work best with being in an environment that is clean and organized but not only that, I can easily multi task and handle situations that may be unexpected at times which can often be the case with caregiving. I feel that since I was raised with a close family, and my grandparents help watch and raise me taught me to appreciate how much our elders do for us while they are capable of it. If they are no longer able to take care of themselves without assistance , I feel that is what we as caregivers are here to do. My name is Nicole. I am just moving to Thorton. I graduated last year with my LPN and am thinking about taking the NCLEX at the beginning of October. I live being a CNA and a CMA as I love working with people. I am currently in school for my bachelor's in leadership. My career has always been working as a Sales Professional on the West Coast. As I worked, I was also putting in many hours volunteering as an in home hospice companion, in home palliative companion, and serving in convalescent homes. I am currently considering being a Hospital Chaplain as a career change since this is where my heart is at. I'm a social person who loves to provide a positive environment with everyone I meet. My appreciation for hospice came when my mom needed this service and I knew somehow I wanted to be on the caring side of the industry. I am a single mother of four. I have been a caregiver since 2011 and decided at the beginning of 2020 to take the next step to get my CNA.
