With over 35 years' experience in Europe & Florida in the Home Caregiving Industry within the Private Sector. I am Smoke Sensitive and Allergic to Cat's... so if you do smoke or have Cat's, then I'm unable to assist you - I've no Allergies or concerns to or with any Dogs though. I have also Completed the 2 Dose Vaccination and received both the booster too. Have you and your family members who are in or visit the home, been Tested, 2 Dose Vaccinated and received the Booster too? During all of these years I've personally provided & or supervised our wonderful senior community, both men and women with multiple types and disciplines in: "Hands on Home Care, Health & Companion Care, Respite Care and all forms and facets of Private Duty Nursing /Caregiving". Certified Medication Aide is also one of the multiple qualifications I hold, that allow me to assist you. Whilst I am within your home, I can safely administer any and all of your prescribed and or over the counter medications, be it daily or weekly, as prescribed. I've also played an active role in doing Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy / Recreational Therapy and Speech Therapy Assistance. I can also provide Transportation for any of your Dr. Appointments, Errands and Social and Spiritual Activities, on an prn (as needed basis), whilst I am assisting you. I've unofficially been a caregiver for over 20 years however, when my mother fell ill in 2014, I decided to pursue schooling for her. I enjoy getting to know people and learning about their lives, and being able to help them. I am most proud of being able to be my mothers caretaker before she passed in 2016.

I have always enjoyed taking care of people I have a passion for making sure the elder is treated right and considered equal to the rest of us. I enjoy making people smile and if we can achieve that in ways of becoming healthier that's even better. I took care of my father at home until the age of 80 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

I feel I'm a great caregiver because it's something that I enjoy doing. It takes a lot of patience, honesty, and heart to care for a person. I have been a care giver since 2006 and I am still enjoying my job. A goal that I want to pursue is to open my own adult daycare so that families can have a safe and secure place for their loved ones to attend.

Why did you become a Caregiver? 1)I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2)What do you like about being a Caregiver? I have been a CNA/HHA for 26 years. I had a calling for this field of work. I am a self starter, dependable, loyal and compassionate about people and their well being. I enjoy putting a smile on people's face, that's my reward. My personality is infectious along with my heart. My journey of work experience speaks for itself. I have worked with many Dr.'s, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Hospice Staff, to name a few. My goal is to make sure comfort and support is provided at all times. I am a pleaser as well.
