Hello. I have 24 years of experience as a CNA/ caregiver. I have worked skilled care, palliative, ambulatory, home health, and assisted living. I strive to make my clients quality of life the best possible. They am certified in First Aid and CPR. I am also in school to become an Rn, Bsn.

I realized while taking care of my mother through her batter with cancer, whilst solely raising a young child that helping people is what I do best. My experience with various clients and conditions has shown me that I have the best temperament to deal with any situation. I also find that I'm the happiest when I'm taking care of someone else. I have a diverse background from construction to manufacturing. But, I am only ever satisfied when I'm helping make someone else's life easier. I'm also a great listener and have grown white fond of the elderly, and anybody else in need of someone who truly cares about people.

I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

I started off as a hospice aide at the age of 17. This was while I was still in high school because I always knew that caring for others was my calling. I can remember being a little girl and wanting to help out with my grandpa who had suffered from a stroke leaving him disabled and needing help most of the time. I always wanted to help feed him and give him juice. When I went off to college I started doing home health and helping families that needed it. Every one I came in contact with me had such a great bond that we would share that we would become inseparable. I have been told that I have a spirit that most people need to look after others. It is something I enjoy doing. I love to help others because you never know where you could end up. Right now I currently work at a hospital with rehab dealing with stroke patients. I love it. I just want to be able to give people who are sick or just need the company the proper companionship and the love that they need.

I have four children and nine grandchildren. I adore my family and spending time with them. I also enjoy the outdoors and playing with my two dachshunds. I have worked in the medical field for a long time and I really enjoy helping others. I am a people person and love life.
