I genuinely care about others, no matter the age. Outside of my wishes of being a medical assistant, I wanted to be a caregiver because I would have one-on-one time with the person. This desire of mine grew as I started working for Clark Lindsey. As a waitress, I get to know the residents to an extent. The reason I joined Synergy (home health care), was to be a companion to residents that may not have that or any type of care as they used to. Knowing that they don't get to see their loved ones as much as they want to, I feel even closer to them because I feel like I can be that person for them-someone who is close to them, cares for them, provides safety, and to really listen and have interest in them. For the client that I currently have as well as others in the past, I learn a lot of life experiences from them and I love to see their eyes light up when they tell me parts of their past as if they are reliving it again and again. Lastly, my personal achievements that I'm proud of happens at Clark Lindsey and with a client I used to have. At Clark Lindsey, when residents would come up to me (when I'm working, or just visiting) telling me that they always enjoy seeing me, always makes my day. Also, recently with a client, I aided in the recovery of one walking again. Even though, I don't see him anymore, I'm happy that he is with his wife and truly happy.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

I used to care for my grandmother back home. This is my first time applying for a caregiver job here in the United States but I have took a CNA course and did my clinical hours. I am also currently in Nursing School so I have experienced taking care of patients so I do think, I will be a great fit for this job. I love taking care of people and that is the main reason why I decided to go into nursing and also become a caregiver. I am very proud of the fact that I have made it through two semesters of Nursing School, because nursing school is very hard and even though I have thought about giving up so many times I am still pushing through. I enjoying seeing my patients smile. I love when they are happy to see me which makes me feel like I am doing a great job taking care of them. I love seeing my patients get the best care that they need. I am very compassionate, patient, trustworthy, dependable and attentive so I do think this will be a very good fit for me.

I have been in homecare for 15 years and I love my job and I love working with people,if you need someone that has only miss one day off work for 15 years I am here for you and would love to hear from you. Everyone so far likes me I work hard and enjoy it, and what attracted me to been a caregiver I use to go to work with my grandmother in the nursing home.i would love to get a homecare job back in Oklahoma so I can be closer to my kids

I have over 20 years of experience in the caregiving field, both live in and live out situations. I am highly skilled in grooming toileting bathing dressing and transferring of elderly. I am well versed in assisting clients with activities of daily living and I have demonstrated ability to record and report changes in residents eating habits to supervisor or family. I have been a CNA since 2007 after completing a health occupations course in high school. I have always had a passion for helping people and am truly blessed to have landed a wonderful career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist. I have done various caregiver jobs from hospital, in home and nursing home thought the years, especially while I was in college. The reward of being able to help those in need is a wonderful blessing. Life gets busy and sometimes we need an extra help from another person to help continue life.
