I am a very experienced healthcare worker. I have over 25 years as a professional CARE GIVER, CNA, CMA, and LPN. I love working and helping people in many capacities. It gives me great pleasure to help others. I am proud of my experience and the willingness to always learn more. I first took care of my Great Aunt when I was in high school. She was dying from cancer. I came home after school and went to her house and would spend the night. I cooked for her, helped her get ready for bed and most of her cares. I miss her greatly, but she gave me so much more than a job. She was family and we loved each other. I bring that same kindness and sense of love to those I care for now. I am looking forward to continuing this as your care giver.

I worked with 5 nurses and 1 doctor for 10 years, then went on my own for 13 years and am still working. I tended to Hospice patients and their families. Personal care and whatever family needed done . Changed linen, did hair, shaved men. My patients were rejuvenated after care. I never let one patientlose their dignity. This care gives me purpose in my life. It has taught me to live life well and take nothing for granted. My work is my life. I just love careing for people, and di any errands for family or let them know they could go run errands while I am taking care of their loved ones. It gave them a much needed break and knowing their loved ones are in good hands with me. I am a Clinton native and everyone knows me. I also saw patients in surrounding areas and Illinoise. Would love to teach Hospice care to aides. What I do you cannot learn in a book. I have so much knowledge, if I dont do alot of Hospuce I would love to have new aides carry on my knowledge and use it as they work. I was born In Elizabethtown Pennsylvania. Ever since i was born i have been helping in healthcare. My mother was a nurse at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, everyday after school i would go and help my mother with keeping the residents calm and happy. In 2011, my mother had my younger sister. she was born with a cardiovascular condition, and that jump started my interest in the medical field. That year in high school i signed up for CNA classes, i started working as a CNA before i even completed classes. I love what i do. I love being able to help clients stay at home and as independent as possible. I love being able to change my residents moods with just one look. Making them smile helps me know i did my job. I absolutely love everything about being a caregiver. I love helping people. I have a younger sibling with a heart condition, another younger sibling with a tracheotomy, and an older sister with an eye condition. My grandfather had diabetes and a cardiovascular condition as i was growing up. When i was in middle school, i stayed with my grandfather so i could help him take his meds, give him his insulin, and make sure he was okay. I helped take care of him up until the time he passed away. Helping people has been in my life for as long as i can remember, its all i know.
