I have a great personality I'm very welcoming,a lot of things make me want to be a caregiver the main thing is that I'm helping someone who's in need an giving them the best care I can and that's what I enjoy.

I have been a CNA since 2007 after completing a health occupations course in high school. I have always had a passion for helping people and am truly blessed to have landed a wonderful career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist. I have done various caregiver jobs from hospital, in home and nursing home thought the years, especially while I was in college. The reward of being able to help those in need is a wonderful blessing. Life gets busy and sometimes we need an extra help from another person to help continue life. I enjoy every client or patient I have ever taken care of and enjoy hearing stories from back in the day! I have continued serving those in need outside my full time position. I currently work Monday through Friday and have every Saturday and Sunday off. I am looking to assist others on Saturdays and Sundays. I am current on BLS and CNA.

I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

I have always enjoyed caring for the elderly and or handicapped. I love helping out and making someone's day better in any way if I can. I'm a very clean person and enjoy cleaning as well. I prefer working with people one on one and feel it's the best way to get to know someone, and give care. My favorite people to work with are those with schizophrenia and dementia/Alzheimer's. I've always wanted to be a caregiver in some way. My grandmother was a nurse, and we spent a lot of time together helping others in various ways. She taught me how to give care, and to help others when they need it. I saw what she did, and how it affected other people, and wanted to give that to others myself. I enjoy helping other people.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.
