I'm a new member of the Wichita community. My husband and I moved here from the Manhattan area where I worked as a para educator for 9 years. Needing a change, I worked toward my CNA,CMA, and HHA certifications. I have worked in Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Home Care and Hospice all of which I loved. I have an early work experience as an EMT,(no longer lisenced), and years in phlebotomy. I've also worked as a CNA in a surgical center in various areas of the building. I spent 1 1/2 years after we moved here, recovering from shoulder surgery and working in a preschool center while getting situated in our new to us house. We have two daughters, one is married with a 4 yr old and 8 month old and the other is a Jr in college at Bethel. I grew up a farm girl, spent valuable time with my grandparents, and have been involved in many activities myself and with our kids. My family has always come first and I have always worked jobs that would allow me to live and be in their moments as they were and are happening! We are total hands on grandparents to our grandchildren when needed and possible. I love flea markets, refurbishing furniture, I have my own picture painting site, yard sales, shopping, and being in our yard. My heart and soul are extremely down to earth and when I enter a clients home, they are what matters while I am there. Their comfort and happiness with my work, long after I leave, is important to me until I see them again.

Home Healthcare is my true passion. I have 25 years of Healthcare experience. I have been a licensed CNA and HHA for 22 years. I have taken care of patients with all disease processes specializing in Dementia and Alzheimer's. Many excellent references available.

My first priority and goal as a caregiver is to build a rapport with the individual that Im working with. I strive to support and assist them in any way i can so that they can be as independent as they possibly can . I have the experience and capabilities to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency type situations that sometimes involve CPR and first aid. Although my certifications are not up to date I have had CPR and first aid training/certification classes at least 5 times in the past 10 years when I worked for a former employer.

I have been in healthcare industry for 8 years now. I love my career its more of an passion for me. I give my care as I would want it for myself or my loved one. The thing I love about care giving is the relationships I build with my clients. I learn so much and they come from different places around the world and have awesome stories. All my clients love me and thats all the achievement I need. Its my passion.

Hello...My name is Donnie I'm 44 years old and have been in Nursing 26 years. I started in Nursing when I was 18 years old and have worked in several roles. The begining part of my career I worked in housekeeping at Life care of Andover and then moved up. I started as a CNA and loved the interactions with all my patients. I soon became a restorative aide and I assisted with range of motion and therapy guided exercises. During thia time I also passed meds for over 64 people guided by staff nurse. After leaving Andover I found myself working in the hospice field over the last 17 years. Hospice care of Kansas 2005-20011- Harry Hynes 2011-2018 Serenity Hospice 2018 to present. I've Los worked with several families providing private duty for geriatric age parents and coordinated cares with family. I grew up in Andover kansas with amazing elderly neighbors who I spent a lot of time getting to know each one of them. I really enjoy the interactions with the elderly and getting to know who they are

I have been a caregiver for 15 years, I have worked with children to adults and elderly. I started with a family friend and I loved the feeling of being able to make someones day better even for just a few hours. Hey I'm Kendra I am a social butterfly I love meeting new people and getting to know them. When I was 12 my stepdad became the director of nursing in fort dodge Kansas and anytime there were social events for the residents I'd be there and I loved being around them and hearing the stories of their lives and helping them in any way. A personal achievement I am proud of is moving our little family out of our hometown at the beginning of this year.
