My passion is to help care for someone. I've been caregiver since 2001. I got into this due to takin care of my papaw. I love listen to stories and pictures of them.

People want to stay in their homes and not have to go into nursing homes. If I can be a part of helping them to stay in their home then I feel I have been successful. I took care of my mother in law for a little over 10 years. I have also taken care of others in In their home.

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I love to care for others. I like for my life to have meaning in helping others. It brings joy to my heart. I took care of my grandmother for several years and I also worked for a caregiver company and I love it. I took care of a lady for 12 years who had MS, she was total depended on me for personal care. I'm a Christian lady who believes God has given me a heart for taking care of others.
