St. Elizabeth Hospice for 8 years providing Palliative, Respite and End of life care in the patients home and Inpatient settings. Followed by a committed record of reliability and strong ability to establish rapport with patients, family and staff. To Succeed, and always show continuous improvement are a few words that have always compelled me to become a caregiver, To ensure a compassionate, professional delivery of care to each patient. Currently working in a outpatient clinic as a Certified Hemodialysis Patient care Technician providing hemodialysis under the supervision of a RN.

I'm an experienced competent, kind, patient nurse and had been working in the nursing field for 20 years now abroad and in here, USA. I treat my patients like they are my own family. I am both empathetic and sympathetic. I gained all my skills from the long years of my experience. I am extremely hardworking as they said but for me it's not about the hours or pay that matters but how my patient feels aside from the professional care I rendered. I am always happy to be of help. I enjoy the relationships and bonds I form with them. I usually work with the same residents everyday and getting to know them and what they like and dislike is one of the things I like best. I feel like it helps you take care of them better and helps to understand them more. I have 2 dogs who I spend most of my free time with. I like music, art, and being outside.

My mother was a nurse and I enjoyed being a part of that atmosphere, I started out being an nurses assistant and I found it more enjoyable being STNA . That is a state tested nursing aid it took me two hospitals nursing facilities and it gave me a greater appreciation for what we do and now I'm able to enjoy home healthcare which is just as enjoyable one on one private care I'm able to apply many things that I've learned over the years which helps me and the client in daily activities I have extensive nursing training there is no situation that I have not yet experienced I enjoy being a part of the healthcare field. When my mother took ill I was able to take care of her and know exactly what the doctors were talking about that was a huge achievement to be able to be supportive and stand firm on my mother's wants and needs.

Hello! I have 20+ years in the care field. I have extensive experience in the MR/DD field and also with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid. I'm compassionate and patient. I'm dependable and courteous. Caregiving has been tremendously rewarding to my life. I have been a STNA for almost 10 yrs now and I love what I do! I have worked in all aspects of the field. I've worked in long term care, memory care, rehabilitation, hospice, and home care. I have also worked at an mrdd facility in the past. I believe in order to do your job to the best of your ability you have to love what u do. I decided when I graduated high school in 2006 that I wanted to be apart of the healthcare field. That's when I got into the medical billing and coding program at Fortis college,graduated from that program and spent another year furthering my education in healthcare with billing and coding. After graduating and realizing it was going to be harder than I thought to get a job in those areas without furthering my education more ( more money) I went back again for STNA. I enjoy my patients and taking care of them like they were my own [?]. It makes me feel good knowing I made someone else's day go smoother.
