I have been a private caregiver for the past 15 years and I love caring for the elderly.

I wake up everyday with a smile and a heart to please those in need. I'm passionate about providing care to those in need in my community and that motivates me, and makes me excited to do my work!

I've been a CNA since 2009 and I love helping others especially listening to their stories. I'm here to help and not judge so I love to make my patients still feel like they have their independence. I was attracted to be a CNA when my grandmother fell ill and since then I been helping people. I was at her bedside, my grandfather and dad's side until they passed away.

I'm a compassionate person with over 20+ years of caregiving experience. I like caregiving because I enjoy helping others when they need someone most. The bonds built with clients and families are something I treasure. I have my Bachelor's degree in the science of psychology and my master's in the arts of psychology and both help me to be very knowledgeable and understanding of the aging process as well as dementia and Alzheimer's care.

For two years I believe I have finally found where I belong. I always asked God to direct me to a job where I feel like I'm making a difference. I absolutely love what I do.

Compassionate and caring. Upbeat, with great sense of humor. I see the good in everything. I have a passion for helping and serving others. I want my efforts to make a difference in someone's life. I am proud of myself for always being humble and kind to every person I meet.

What makes me a great caregiver is I don't do my job for the money of it. I do my job because of the passion and love I have to help people. I feel that caring for someone who can't always care for themselves is a blessing and also a chance at making a difference in their life as well. I choose to become a caregiver because I lost my grandparents at an early age both my grandmother's at the age of 12, one of my grandfather's at the age of 18 and the other one past before I was born so I kind of grown attach to others and think of them as one of my own grandparents. May sound odd but that's where I find comfort working with the elderly mostly. I also have a son that has a learning disability, as well as behavior problems so I can understand and also have the patients to deal with people with disabilities. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is putting a smile on all my clients faces and showing them the amount of love and compassion that I do. Letting them know that they are what matters to me the most. My personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and now I am currently working on becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

I am a very caring and loving person. I enjoy helping others and God because it's fulfilling. I especially enjoy elders because of their stories and wisdom. I am a very reliable and accountable person who will always go above and beyond the call of duty. I care for others as I did for my own parents who are now deceased. I also believe the elderly receive the best care when they are able to have in-home, reliable health. I am a Christian and also have been blessed with Spiritual gifts to assist and comfort those who are in pain. I am a people person and enjoy the stimulation of conversation and keeping the client alert and entertained .
