I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

It's heartwarming to know I get to share in the lives of the precious people that put their trust in me to care for them in their elder years. I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! From there, I plan to work towards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I am dedicated and dependable, and the hourly rate is negotiable depending on the level of care and time of day needed, etc.
