Hi, I currently provide independent living skills, dementia care, hospice care, nanny, housekeeping, companion care, transportation, senior and home health care services. I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. I look forward to speaking with you regarding my qualifications. I am a very patient individual and believe that communication is the key to resolving most difficulties in life. I have 4 children of which 2 are still at home. I am a single mom who enjoys nature walks, being involved in the church and living a serene and quiet lifestyle. Reading, writing, volunteering and walks are a few of my favorite things to do.

I have a 19 year professional background in providing care to people in assisted living, home care, long term, and rehabilitation facilities. I am skilled and experienced in; dementia care, hospice, mental and physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, rehabilitation, geriatric care, and infant care. I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I've been in this field for 30+ years now I'm very companionent reliable I take my position very seriously I don't leave anything undone . I make sure my clients are satisfied before leaving their residence I'm good with doing any tasks I'm available around the clock there's just one thing I can't do is work in a residence that have CATS I'm very allergic and very much afraid otherwise I'm a hard worker.
