The elderly has a wealth of knowledge that they love to share about life and their experiences. I enjoy their appreciation for you being their caregiver and they seem so grateful. I treat them the same way I would like to be treated and the way I would like my mother to be treated if she needed care. I've been working in this field for over 6years now and I wouldn't change that. My biggest achievement is to grow with the families I work for. I am also CPR/1st AID CERTIFIED.

What makes me a Great caregiver is I care deeply for my Patients. They Make my day when they are smiling and In a great mood. I wanted to become a caregiver because I took care of my mom when I was younger. I enjoy being a caregiver because the residents are always excited to me when I come visit. My Personal achievement was to become my own boss .

I am also very empathetic, patient, enthusiastic, and extremely reliable. My grandmother has been a caregiver to 2 families for the past 30 years. She's raised their kids and I grew up watching her and seeing how fulfilled she was by caring for the family and that immediately sparked my interest. I also love to help people. Seeing people in pain or distress makes me want to do whatever necessary to alleviate that pain. Which is essentially the thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver, helping those who can not help themselves. It's very rewarding at the end of the day. Getting up every morning to be of assistance to these families and their loved ones to render my best services is a personal achievement every single day being a caregiver.

I try my best to make sure my patients are 100% happy and healthy. What attracted me to caregiving was that my grandmother was diagnosed with copd and I took care of her. I was really disgusted at the way her home health nurse treated her, and from that I decided that I would become a CNA. I don't want anyone being neglected or abused like my grandmother was. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing my patients smile. A personal achievement of mine that I am proud of was getting my CNA license.
