Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care. Hello! I'm a kind hearted, loving person who never meets a stranger. I treat my patients and clients like they are my family. I wanted to become a caregiver since I was a little girl and experienced my grandpa going through cancer and his caregivers were wonderful! I wanted to be able to provide that kind of care to others!

I have been a certified nurse aide for 23 years I have all areas of experience to take care of your loved one. I am caring,through, and my patient is my full responsibility, and their safety. I became a caregiver, when I got Cancer at 13 and the caregivers pushed mt to fight,and I did,and that is why I am alive, As a caregiver I give all my patients hope,and encouragement to fight!!!My most proud moment as a caregiver was a Good Samaritan Law situation. A 23 year old man fell down from jogging on the beach ,and had a massive HEART ATTACK AND I KNEW I HAD TO MOVE FAST!!!i BEGAN CPR AND WHEN EMS ARRIVED HE HAD A PULSE AGAIN!!!

I am 30 years old, I have been working as a cna since 2011. I enjoy my line of work because I love working with elderly and I've worked long term care since I was certified. The residents become family I treat them just as I would want my loved ones treated. I find this job very important and it's very important to be on time and dependable so their isn't any mishaps with the care your loved one needs.

Ive been a caregiver on and off since I was 17 years old and I love doing it im also really good at it. Im comfortable in alot of diffrent situations im also a great cook :)

I love my residents and I try to get along with everyone as well as I can. I've been in this field since 2014 and I've enjoyed doing it since day 1. I live with my grandparents. I work whatever hours are needed to take care of my family. I enjoy the aspect of getting to know the residents I'm working with.

I became a caregiver because I have a willingness to help and care for others. The opportunity was offered to me when I was very young caring for a family friend and ever since I have enjoyed the work and the sense of purpose it gives me. Hi, I'm Ashley , and love working with elders.. it is my passion , and it all started when I was asked to help care for my grandma with Parkinson's , I worked with her for 4 years full time and she encouraged me to do nursing school, but between having 2 kids , ages 9 and 6 nursing school is not in the cards , I am very outgoing , and love to listen. I am caring and patient. I love doing the CNA side of the work , I also got my certification for phelbotomy and medication aide.
