I love reading to them and singing or just going on walks. My clients are like my family, and I treat them as such. I've always made little simple treats for them and have them become involved with things.

I take being a caregiver very serious, I looked after both of my great grandmother's before they passed away. I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. First of all, I always go into a home knowing that I will be making a wonderful friend. I love the elderly; I love their different personalities and all their "Life" stories. It gives my heart great joy to be able to make them smile. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.
