I became a Cna looking to finish a nursing degree that I had started previous to living in Nebraska. After receiving my Cna and working in a fully skilled facility I realized that was my calling. Not nursing as I had previously thought. I prefer direct contact with the people I am caring for and found that as a nurse you spend most of your time behind the scenes. I have done this for almost 2 years and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I am great at this, do to my desire to make everyone happy and loving to see them smile. The love I get in return for my care is better than any amount of money could be. Feels good to make a living doing what you love and being loved in return.

I love being able to take care of others. It's always been a passion of mine! I love being able to make someone's day better by just the simple things we take for granted sometimes such as bathing or eating. I enjoy being able to get to know the people I take care of and building a rapport with them.

Am a mom of 2 children and I have been a private caregiver since 2015 but I only have 1 patient and I need more. As a caregiver I have to provide home care to others and only patience can do it because all patients are not the same.

I love working with individuals and families to help them feel comfortable in their own home. I offer compassionate care, attuned support, and individualized options based on their interests and goal. Sometimes that is reminiscing on the good 'ole days, or making their favorite soup growing up, or creating a home environment that fits their current needs, like moving things around so their mobility devices can fit easily. I really like to encourage mobility exercises, when appropriate. Sometimes that looks like a walk across the living room, or down the block, or perhaps a local park if we're feeling up to it. I also love to find the positives and celebrate the win of the day, and acknowledge the hardships. I feel that acknowledging difficulties help clients to feel heard and understood. I like to help clients notice what is going on today. Notice how they feel today. I am also proficient in taking notes on clients condition, diet, medications, achievements of the day, and more. I enjoy making clients lives easier so they can enjoy more of their favorites.

I'm compassionate and I put a lot of effort into my work which makes me a great care giver. I have loved giving a helping hand and seeing the smile on everyone's face that I help, that is what attracts me to being a caregiver! I enjoy making connections and getting to know my patients, that is what I love most about being a care giver! I am so proud that I have a huge heart for helping people when a lot of the world probably would turn their heads to someone in need, that is what I'm proud of!

My name is Christina, I got my CNA certification on February 21st of 2017. I am also a certified medication aide as of August 2019! Both of my certifications are viewable on the DHHS registry for confirmation. I am 20 years old and I graduated from Papillion Lavista north a year early as a junior in 2017. What called me to be a caregiver is my empathy for others and naturally calling to help other people. I enjoy working as a team with family's and employers to help bring the best service and companionship possible with my patients. I am responsible and able to manage multiple tasks at hand with time management, and always get my work done to the best of my ability. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents. While helping them with with day to day chores, and activities of living. I also learned a lot from them as well. I enjoyed the quality time we had. Then later on once my Father passed away, I realized my passion, how much I truly enjoy helping others, and meeting the different families that God brings into my path. #Good 2B Home

I'm a single mother of two great boys. I am very caring and loving person. I also took care of both my parents when they were sick. Both of them at cancer and I cared for them until they went. Really enjoyed our time spent in those last moments of their lives. So I know what it feels to need the care from a personal perspective. I just want to help those who need us the most.
