I have been a patient care assistant/ Direct careworker for over 15 years and I love what I do. I enjoy being able to help people in need. I have worked with many clients that are recovering from strokes. I have also worked with many clients that are suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have worked with many clients that just need companionship also. I have also helped clients that are terminal to help make their transition peaceful and comfortable also helping to comfort the family. I am a very patient and understanding person which I feel is important, I also have a great calming effect if I am ever faced with any stressful situations which helps me to be more affective in my job.
