I enjoy dedicating my time to my community and serve those who are in need. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is putting smiles on faces and knowing that I did everything I could for them. I have a lot of patience. I've been told I'm compassionate, trustworthy, responsible, and loving.

Very attentive, empathetic and very honest and have the utmost integrity. Friendly, charismatic are also traits of mine aside from being very responsible and dependable coming from a 6 year military background. I always loved to help others in need no matter what circumstances they are in I believe everyone deserves help.

I am a young man willing to take care of others and look out for others. I have tooken care of my grandma for years as well as other family- friends relatives that I wasn't related too. I've fed em, bathed em, and layed them down. I care about others and their emotional state as well. I have alot of empathy for others.

I was raised by my grandparents all the way up till high school. While living with them they instilled countless of values and morales. Which is why upon graduating with my B.S. from Houston Christian Univeristy, I returned home to look after them. Through them and my professional experience i've learned tremendous patience and how to properly address and handle any situation a care giver may experience. I was officially hired as my grandfathers provider through the VA when he reached 100% disability until his passing at 102. I have since worked for two other home care agencies, and have over 2 years of experience professionally. I am also sponsored by Project Arriba, while I complete a 2-year Echocardiography program at EPCC. I can say with confidence I am able to effectively and superbly perform any task as a caregiver and provide exceptional customer service.

Patience is my best trait when working with patients and helping them overcome any challenge or question they might encounter and by doing this the patient will feel comfortable by demonstrating active listing and genuinely caring and showing interest in all their needs. I like being a caregiver because i was able to help take care both of my grandparents and working in a hospital setting really showed me how much help the elderly need. As a caregiver i will meet any issues the patient might need, show compassion and listen, help with their needs which makes me happy that i'm there to help. Im proud of one of my achievements and it was helping a patient that was choking with their food. I was able to preform CPR and dislodge the piece of food which saved his life.

I am a hard working healthcare provider that is always striving to go above and beyond the standard of care. I have even been able to learn new things from my patients when they had a diagnosis I was unfamiliar with. I became a nurse because I knew at the age of three that I wanted to help people. I have worked with postpartum moms and newborns all the way through geriatrics and end of life. I have worked in mental health, rehab/recovery, neurological, and cardiac units as well. I got my first responders when I was 15 and was the youngest person in my class to graduate from nursing school. That puts me at 22 years of experience in the medical field.

I have worked as a caregiver for 19 years and have had the honor of taking care of elder family members. I would treat your loved one as if they were my own family. I enjoy working one on one with people of all ages. My day is complete knowing I made a difference in someone's life.

I have been a cna/caregiver for over 30 years, I started at the age of 17 I knew I wanted to help people our elderly population I love what I do and am a loyal compassionate caregiver.
