Professional, Experienced,Dependable,Caring...I've been a CNA 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours,
I have worked in the nursing home business for 26 years. I am very compassionate. I have my CNA and Medication aide from State of Nebraska. I have been trying to get them transferred here to Nevada. I have recently moved here from small town Nebraska. I have hometown values and am trustworthy. I am an amazing caregiver. I have no problems working days after 8am. I have to drop my kids off at school. I can work evenings and nights. Weekends and holidays. I have no problem with transport to Dr appointments, stores or to get medication. I can transport to family gatherings or just sit and visit. I do housekeeping, laundry and meals. I would love the opportunity to assist your loved one to have a quality of life. Quantity is only after Quality.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

A little over 10 years ago I got a call from my aunt while at work that my mom had almost fallen from a step ladder at my house. She was by herself and we had just lost my dad to his battle with cancer a few months prior so it was on that day that I quit my job as an event planner to stay home and care for my elderly mother. She has forever changed my view on the importance of caring for loved ones in times of need. My family lost a wonderful soul over a year ago and I find myself wanting to share my compassion, love, and assistance to other seniors who are in need because I believe in sharing this blessing with others to live each day to its fullest.
I am a patient individual, I am very compassionate and very understanding for those who are unable to do for themselves, it is important that I am attentive to my clients needs at all times, I am very dependable I rarely miss work I am always on time and willing to stay later if required or needed very trustworthy it's import that my clients know that their breach of trust will not be broken.
Being a caregiver is such an honor it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what care giving is all about.

When my father was ill with alzheimers, I moved home to Texas to care for him. I was able to be there with a smile, gently cue him to things that had been a way of life for him. He passed away in 2013. I was lucky to be right there with him. I am a patient, loyal and caring person wanting to be there when needed, brighten someone's day with a smile and aim to please. Being a caregiver is not just a job, it is something I deeply enjoy. The 2 years of taking care of my father, I had no experience but I knew from studying, watching the caregivers we had hired and wanting so badly to please him was a very personal achievement that I am proud of. That is when I made up my mind I wanted to help others in the same situation, or whatever they lacked, I want to be there.
I am compassionate, reliable , trustworthy and knowledgeable.
Caregiving became my passion because I saw the love and care provided by my family to my ailing grand parents and in return I gave the same care to my own parents till their passing.
I can easily adapt to the needs of my patient by treating them as my own.

Duties
The tasks of a caregiver are immense. I normally work in patients' homes and assist them with almost every task. I ensure that my patients take their medications and get the proper care and nutrition daily. I am responsible for planning and preparing meals of patients, running errands such as buying groceries, and ensuring all the food my patients consume are fresh and clean. I handle all the housekeeping tasks.
That include doing the laundry, making beds, dusting, keeping a calendar of appointments and organizing mail. I also take care of their medical
appointments, trips to salons and or to religious activities. I also join in their activities like playing board games or watching films. Besides the physical help.
I provide my patients with emotional support and motivation. I am very sweet and easy to talk to so I make a great companion to them as well.
