Hi my name is Traci and I've been a caregiver for the elderly and disabled for over 20 years. I've had other jobs but I'm always drawn back to the elderly. I enjoy sitting and chatting with them, they're so full of information..... Like walking dictionaries! I have worked in places from the ER, to the hospitals, nursing homes and in people's homes. I believe your loved one has the right to live the best life they can even when they are not feeling their best, battling a sickness or are elderly. It's not my job to be their boss as I work for them. I enjoy seeing them still do whatever they can to live the best life they can. I love helping people it gives me a sense of joy and warms my soul. It makes me a better person, it has taught me patience and to enjoy every moment of everyday even when it's not the greatest of days. I am proud of the mom I am. My children have the same compassionate spirit as me and enjoy helping people. I truly love what I do and the community of people that I have the pleasure to share my time with.

I am a very dependable person who gives her all to those in my care. I have a daughter with special needs who encourages me everyday to continue my work in the medical field.

I'm originally from the UK , have been nursing for 25+ years . I become a hospice nurse 13 years ago.

I have been taking care of my mother over the last 4 years. It has brought out the compassionate and patient side of my nature and I enjoy helping others. I have a background in wholistic care including Ayurveda (an ancient form of healing in India which includes healthy eating and life style practices that heal). I am also a Yoga teacher.
