I'm a caring and compassionate caregiver. I've been assisting the elderly for over 20 years. I've worked in a private and professional settings caring for clients/patients with dementia, heart disease, Parkinson, pulmonary disease, stroke and more. I've assisted with basic companionship to total care which includes activities of daily living "ADL's" bathing, dressing, shaving, feeding, errands, meal prep, medication management etc. I love and enjoy my profession working with my clients. I've worked for large companies in management positions as well as start up companies where I was one of three employees. I'm a self started and I'm able to handle emergency situations. I began my career as a caregiver in 2003 when my mother was suffering from ovarian cancer. Members of the family and I took care of her until she passed. I was working overnights and taking the CNA course at Candlewood Valley in New Milford, CT during the day. I enjoy helping people, it is very rewarding.
