I am a 42 years old certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant,Home Health Aid,Newborn Care Specialist, Baby Masseuse,CPR,and AMAP Medication Administrator certified caregiver.I am a great caregiver because i am a very empathetic,energetic,fun-loving,friendly,attentive,loving,caring,compassionate,alert,comforting,patient,giving,very good listener,excellent interpersonal and communication skills.I am very meticulous and organize.Has extensive years of experience,knowledge and expertise as a caregiver.I am very good at what i do,thats why i have always been an asset to the heath,wellbeing and independence of my clients and the fact that i have a wonderful personality.

I believe that the best trait in me is determination. I like to encourage my patients to do as much as they can on their own with me their so that they do not lose their independance. My passion in the healthcare setting is unlimited and I have had the availability to attain employment in almost every role from PCA to NA. I love to put a smile on someones face especially when they have had a rough day or appointment. A personal achievement would be working full time and in nursing school as well as working on the RN-BSN while raising a child on my own.

I became a nurse aide because I always wanted to take care of the elderly. I love having conversations and being with them. I treat my patients as if they were my parents. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to spend time with the patients and hearing their stories, which always puts a smile on both of our faces, for them to know that someone cares for them.

I have been a home health aide for over 13 yrs now, I have worked with all kinds of patients in both homes, hospitals and nursing facilities. I enjoy caring for the elderly and also helping them with their basic needs. With my medical background, I experience with different patients with different health problems with makes me more qualified up to any task assigned to.

During my college career, I decided to become a Home Care worker because I knew that would be one way to reach out to the older adults in our communities. I realized how appreciated I was for my hard work and integrity, therefore I continued to be a caregiver. Since older adults have been around for many years, their wisdom is beyond impressive and I enjoy learning from them. As a home care worker I get the advantage to learn so much from older adults as I listen to their stories. I am deeply passionate about helping older adults and it is something I love to do. My passion prevails itself as I support and comfort my clients. For an example, what ever goals my clients wishes to achieve by the end of the day or week those goals will be met. These goals are of course related to activities of daily living skills, running errands, or engaging in the community, such as attending social day programs. I also encourage my clients to express their independence, thoughts, and feelings. I am someone any family member can rely on to take care of their parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles.

I am a well experienced and qualified care technician who employs people centered and consultative approach to care. This means that care plan is developed with the care receipients' priority in mind. I entered this field because of the need I realized when taking care of my senior relative who received a diffcult diagnosis. I am friendly, effecient, and enjoy a good conversation. In this field, I am most proud of the smile and thank yous that I receive from patients at the end of a care cycle.

I am a friendly person with a natural capability of providing continuous care to older adults, physically challenged people, as well as children. Empathy is embedded in my personality, also, I am a good listener. I have a track record of giving elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment of my work. Im patient , empathetic, and extremely dedicated to my work. I'm not doing it for the money . I will never be able to get it right as I'm very organized . Apart from medical and physical attention, I make sure that I am supportive and provide companionship as best as I can. Additionally, I make sure that they are both emotionally and physically comfortable at all times. And I am highly experienced in administering medication as well . Caring for my grandma inspired me to become a caregiver. I cared for her for years, and through that experience, I learned that I'm passionate about helping people and improving the daily lives of those in need of care. Supporting my grandma taught me skills like patience, compassion and problem-solving. I learned how to address issues quickly and effectively to ensure my grandma was healthy and safe. While the work was challenging, improving my grandma's quality of life made it worthwhile. I'd love to apply my skills to help make the same impact at your organization. Because When I help rehabilitate people, I feel that I am on top of the world. Helping people reach their health goals is quite satisfying.
