Hi my name is Tracey, I've been providing care for the elderly for 18+ years and also have 2 children of my own that I've raised.I love kids. I love my job and I'm very compassionate and have empathy for others. I enjoy helping others especially those in need. I'm current and in good standing with my state license through nursing and also have a recent criminal background check I can provide if needed. I have great references and can provide any credentials that are needed. I'm also professional CPR/First Aid Certified.

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I am patient, understanding, a great listener, compassionate, and very caring. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I am a positive person, I love to smile, and laugh. I am also trustworthy, supportive, and encouraging. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer (Stage 5) 6 years ago, my one and only Caregiver by the name of Barbara, was the absolute best. She took very good care of me, and was such a joy to have around. One day I told her that when I get better, I was going to become a Caregiver too because she was such an inspiration and blessing to me and my family. I am a natural born nurturer, and I love taking care of people. It gives me such a fulfillment in my spirit to know that I did something that day to make someone's life a little easier. I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete my courses to become a Certified Nurses Assistant 2 years ago, and I plan to go back to become State Tested to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.

I personally started caregiving 5 years ago when a very close family member had a stoke. I cared for her until her passing. After caring for her I realized I loved making a difference in someone's life, so I made a career with home health. The laughs and the things that me and clients achieve are irreplaceable to me. I'm very experienced with multiple types of needs such as bed bound, dementia and Alzheimer's, ADLs, recovering patients, transportation, and even just being there for them!
