Hello my name is Ashley I've been a caregiver for a little over 12 years right out of high school i love to take care of people and my heart is so big i feel like i can help everyone my most favorite things about being a caregiver is hearing their stories i love hearing about the places they've been the things they've done and my personal achievement is i picked up for no reason at all and moved myself and kids 15 hours away from home and family for a better change

What makes me a great caregiver is a few things 1) This is a true calling that I am gifted with. I am a great listener and patient with people in general. I spent time as a young girl around my Grandmother which taught me a lot. I was well trained in companionship and wasn't even aware. I have plenty of experience from my past. The rest just came natural. What i like most about being a caregiver is helping those that can't help themselves. This field has given me a sense of purpose. One thing that i am most proud to say is that I am current with my CPR and First aid training, as well as fully vaccinated. Not because my job requires it but because I want to be safe and keep the ones I care for safe in every way.

I have been state tested since graduating high school. I am a mother of 4 and a wife of 13 yrs. I love working with patients and their family. I am very well at leaving my personal life at the door and being able to enjoy my day at work. Caring for people is all I know how to do. I just have to be able to be a parent as well with schools being done at home so can't do the long shifts of working in a nursing home. I take as many extra learning as can to help enhance my certification . I'm very easy to get along with and as flexible as needed. I have worked in home health, hospitals, as well as Nursing homes. My patients happiness means a lot to me or how the family thinks of me so always try to do my best. I have always liked helping people which is why I chose this field right out of high school. I have always kept my certification in good standing I've had my certification since 2001 and still on state registry with no complaints ever on my care. Hopefully I will get a chance to work with your family and treat your loved one as one of my own.

I have been in the field of caregiving in some form or another, most of my adult life. I have worked as a Nursing assistant in nursing homes, a hospital on the Med/surgery and Palliative care floor, and out of clients homes. I currently work as provider for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities on the weekends. I have provided support for DD individuals for most of the past 7-8 years. Along with professional care, I have also given care to family members at home after a stroke, and with post-surgery care as well. I strive to treat your loved one, as I would my own loved ones at home.

I been working in home care field since I was 17 I'm 22 now I love what i do I clean cook every day living I work with all different people elderly , disable / mrrd/ special needs . You name it . I do transportation bathing groom .I am cpr certificated and medicine certification. I i been with people that are easy upset , behaviors , and beyond bad behaviors. hellllo , I'm Jordan!! I honestly love what I do and the residents also love me.. I'm a great big ball of energy, they normally say! There is not a time where I'm not wanting to make someone smile[?] I have the biggest heart and I wear it on my sleeve!! I enjoy being a caregiver because it allows me to give back to the ones that once cared for little ones.. I enjoy being their helping hand and just that extra help. At the end of the day when I see a smile upon their face, I know they are happy and comfortable and that's all that matters my person achievement would be to further my career with nursing one day!

I have been caring for seniors for the past 7 years. I have a bachelor's degree from Ohio University with a certificate in gerontology. From being a care aide to an activity director, I have a great passion for helping older adults in any way I can and building relationships with them. I am due to have my first baby in September, and am looking to care for someone in their home starting in the winter (December or January) between 20-30 hours a week. Hello my name is Desirae. Fresh out of high school I had my state tested nursing assistant liscence and worked in nursing homes for a few years until I had my first child . When I returned to work I did home health care for a few years. I've worked with all different types of patients from recovery from surgery to dementia patience. I'm currently a server and cleaning houses part time and I am looking for a part time job assisting elderly because it's what I do best.
