I'm a 20 year old female just finished school for emergency medical service I have a background in health care and providing care for those with special needs because I have a sister who I provide care for I enjoy working with others and providing amazing care. I'm also first aid and CPR certified,I also have had a federal background check while in school.

I love the type of work I do. I take car of my residents as if they are my own family. I like to sit and listen to stories or problems my residents may have. I realized I wanted to be a caregiver when I found joy in helping others and putting smiles on others faces. Something I enjoy most about being a caregiver would definitely be the bonds and relationships I have made with my residents even family members of those residents.

What inspired me to be a caregiver was my great-grandmother. She lived with my grandmother who was her caregiver. It inspired me to want to help other people, who may not have family members/friends who are able to provide them with care 24/7. Being a caregiver makes me smile because I know I am helping other people. I will be attending college online, starting in August to earn my BSW (Social Work).
