I have been an STNA/caregiver for 19 years! I have cared for patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and their homes. I lead with love and enjoy serving seniors in any way that they may need.

I have always know I wanted to be in the Healthcare field; since I was a little girl. I also love helping people. I love making people feel good. Spending time with my clients. I try to have good relationships with my clients. I enjoy spending time with them; getting to know them and helping them. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Getting my degree! I worked long and hard to earn it!

I been working in home care field since I was 17 I'm 22 now I love what i do I clean cook every day living I work with all different people elderly , disable / mrrd/ special needs . You name it . I do transportation bathing groom .I am cpr certificated and medicine certification. I i been with people that are easy upset , behaviors , and beyond bad behaviors. Hello! I am a very social person and always see the brighter side of things! I guess you could say my cup is always half full! My passion began many years ago when I became the caregiver of my Granny, who lived with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I then took on the care of my father who had his first stroke in 2014. I have an AAS, BSN, and I am working on my Master's currently. I approach every situation with the thought of "what would I do if this was my family member?" No matter how small or big the need for services, one thing is gauranteed, I provide 100% ethical, safe, and fun care!

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I am patient, understanding, a great listener, compassionate, and very caring. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I am a positive person, I love to smile, and laugh. I am also trustworthy, supportive, and encouraging. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer (Stage 5) 6 years ago, my one and only Caregiver by the name of Barbara, was the absolute best. She took very good care of me, and was such a joy to have around. One day I told her that when I get better, I was going to become a Caregiver too because she was such an inspiration and blessing to me and my family. I am a natural born nurturer, and I love taking care of people. It gives me such a fulfillment in my spirit to know that I did something that day to make someone's life a little easier. I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete my courses to become a Certified Nurses Assistant 2 years ago, and I plan to go back to become State Tested to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.
